Standing Orders form the basis under which the Town Council operates. They lay down, amongst other things, how the business of the Council will be conducted, how Councillors are expected to behave and the responsibilities of both Councillors and employees.

Standing Orders are periodically reviewed, and updated as appropriate.

Skull Financial Regulations of Langport Town Council 

The Financial Regulation form the basis of the way in which Langport Town Council uses the monies raised from Council Tax payers and other sources.

They are regularly reviewed to ensure that they keep in touch with the Finance and Accounting Regulations to which the Town Council has to adhere.

The Publication Scheme has been prepared in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act and tells you how the information held by Langport Town Council can be accessed.

 Complaints Procedure

The Complaints Procedure is the way in which the Council will deal with complaints against any of its' employees. It does not relate to Councillors who are covered by the relevant Code of Conduct.

Councillors Code of Conduct

The Councillors Code of Conduct lays down the way in which Councillors are expected to behave both when fulfilling their duties on behalf of the Council and when dealing with members of the public.
